Why I'm standing

As a businesswoman and a homeowner, I recognise the importance in council's role in facilitating the lifestyle that those who live here are lucky enough to enjoy. I stand as a passionate voice for our district to ensure decisions that reflect what we want our future to look like.

About me

I have experienced Ruapehu as a visitor, a seasonaire and as a full time local. I have worked in hospitality, tourism, governance and now own a manufacturing business, exporting from Ruapehu. I understand the challenges our people face and I will continue to be an open and sincere liaison between council and community.

My priorities
  1. Develop a strong and diversified economic base to combat the effects of our district's seasonality.
  2. Ensure spending is distributed fairly throughout the district to ensure equal opportunities.
  3. Make decisions focused on both environmental and economic sustainability. Our future depends on it.
