Why I'm standing

I was born and bred in Timaru and loved growing up here. Now that I have my own kids, I am invested in Timaru's future to ensure they love it here too. As a young candidate (32), I want to bring a different perspective and voice to Timaru Council.

About me

I want Timaru to thrive. I want to be part of that, and I am willing to work hard to see Timaru thrive. Financial Advice background, I believe in strong financial oversight and financial sustainability. This is important as Timaru is about to undergo some big spending on infrastructure and projects. Experience lobbying and campaigning central government while at Lincoln University. I would continue Timaru's pushback against the potential loss of assets and independence.

My priorities
  1. Environmental, infrastructure and financial sustainability. Fit for purpose now and in the future.
  2. A vision for Timaru, Timaru is a great place to live, let's continue to develop, so it stays that way.
  3. Financial oversight, big upgrades and big projects require financial oversight and responsibility.
