Why I'm standing

I love Timaru district, having been a part of this community since childhood. Strong families are foundational to society, and as a husband, father and grandfather I want to secure a strong foundation for future generations. I am and will continue to be invested in our community.

About me

My work in the health, education and trades sectors gives me a broad approach. Being self employed, I offer flexibility to prioritise council matters. Strong communication and mediation skills gives me confidence to ask the hard questions and make independent decisions that reflect our people.

My priorities
  1. Proactively advance decisions and progress on CBD revitalisation and current projects.
  2. Fiscal responsibility with the intention of reducing intergenerational debt.
  3. Question environmental political ideology that threatens the livelihood of our people.
