Why I'm standing

The last two years have affected us in ways that we hadn't thought possible. The pandemic has changed us. I like to think that it has also made us stronger. The recovery budget acknowledges the struggles that we have been through and looks forward, put simply, to recovery. I want to be a part of that – to be involved in helping our community utilise the strength we've discovered and move into the future together.

About me

This is a natural progression of community service for me, and that service means that I understand how committees work, how diversity and collaboration are vital. I look forward to working in a team focussed on building strength and resilience in our community right now – when it needs it most. I believe that kindness and support is what our community needs and that is what I do. Auckland has always held my heart.

My priorities
  1. Develop a plan of free water safety lessons for all pre-school children and newcomers to our area.
  2. Support the availability and safety of off-lead dog exercise parks.
  3. Work with households and business to reduce the waste profile of our community.
