Why I'm standing
Growing up my parents told me to look out while I was a kid. Growing up, I realised it meant, look out for my neighbours, kids, and community. I am passionate about our community, and I want to help look out for the things that matter most to our people. With all the challenges sometimes it feels like no one is looking out for us. I want to help look out for us.
About me
I bring with me a balance of community, business and governance experience, along with my life experience to the board. With these, I will use them to guide discussions, listen to our community and make decisions while working across the table with colleagues. I have been an active member of our communities, enjoying meeting new people, catching up with neighbours, supporting local businesses, and just living in our great community, Upper Harbour.
My priorities
- Piloting a youth employment program for children in the community called Clean and Green.
- Connecting Pāremoremo with a bus, more ferries for West Habour and Hobsonville Point
- Building a new swimming pool facility for our communities west of Greenhithe Bridge.
