Why I'm standing

I have developed a broad experience and understanding of local government. Colleagues describe my ability to lead, facilitate and achieve the best outcomes. While General Manager of Fieldays (20 years), I connected with the agriculture sector and the region to significantly develop the event and benefits for the region. Together with my business experience and social understanding, I believe I have further to offer the district and region.

About me

I strive to exceed expectations and focus on strategy and innovation to achieve outcomes that are not just a reflection of yesterday. I am a volunteer at Fieldays and have a Life Membership. I am currently Chair of the Regional Council and Chair Finance committee and became a councillor in 2017.

My priorities
  1. Ensure the regional council engages better with other councils and the community.
  2. Ensure the ratepayers' dollars are applied for the best outcome.
  3. Ensure our region is more resilient to floods and the effects of climate change.
