Why I'm standing

I want to bring a fresh approach to the Waikato Regional Council. I have farmed in the Waikato region for 45 years and have wide business experience, having run my own computer company (30 years). My local body experience includes employment with councils, establishing their IT systems. I am currently a director, HR and business manager for a farming enterprise.

About me

I have always been active in my community serving on schools' Board of Trustees, Census, Election NZ, Waiariki Polytechnic, Rural Women NZ and Playcentre Aotearoa (life membership of two play centres) Federated Farmers' and Dairy Womens' Network long term member.

My priorities
  1. Ensure that the environment is protected to mitigate the effects of climate change.
  2. Ensure that all our families and communities are supported to achieve equitable outcomes for all.
  3. Reduce bureaucracy so that all businesses in the Waipā/King Country region can flourish.
