  • Review the return on investment of Hutt City Council's spend on resources, eg do you know 2.53% of our rates go to Hutt museums and only 0.05% go to events?

Push for more council-run events to be held in Wainuiomata – a rich events program brings people, money and pride. Christchurch is a great example.

Support our proud sports culture but not think tens of millions of dollars on new facilities here and there will fix our daily issues on the ground.

  • Ensure there are more parks for our younger children to play and engage in sports programs simultaneously.

Replace the small $50K skatepark fund for something more meaningful that won't just be for resurfacing. Like what the youth want.

Pushing for more community festivals, promoting engagement from all local groups to work together.

  • Wainuiomata library hub needs to be open longer hours, eg at night for people to use for personal uses more.

We need to make sure sports in the city are affordable to all and make sure its available to all including disabled people.

We need to make sure we don't grant more liquor licenses than we already have in Wainuiomata.

  • Advocate for the continued upkeep and improvement of our local green spaces, ensuring that our communities aren't over run with development.
