Why I'm standing

I'm passionate about Wānaka, its community and the need to act as a guardian for future generations. I believe the Wānaka Community Board has an opportunity to reclaim its influence and respect. To lead our town in a future focused, positive and inspiring way.

About me

If elected, I will bring a fresh energy and a proactive attitude to the board, plus a track record of both working with, and challenging, QLDC. Over the last 20 years I have acted as a director and advisor across New Zealand. Since 2016 I've served as a Bike Wānaka committee member, fighting hard to save Sticky Forest. Alongside this I have led Active Transport Wānaka's advocacy to build a network of safe cycleways.

My priorities
  1. Ensure QLDC gives Wānaka its fair share of resources and prioritisation.
  2. Construct Wānaka's network of safe and protected cycleways as quickly as possible.
  3. Act as a guardian for our beautiful natural environment.
