Work with central government/local government for more EV units in public transport.
Work with NZTA for better roading commitments, bridge replacements, local car parks, footpath upgrades.
Introduce options for better road safety, better schooling, advertise road safety, commit to lower road speeds.
Work to include the district walkways/cycle ways in the council's plan. The city has plenty, it is the time to invest in the rural areas.
Create a park and ride facility and use the buses to deliver patrons to town. Create ring roads, left turn only.
Establish a harbour ferry with landings at Marsden Point. Parua Bay McLeod's bay Whangārei heads right into the Town Basin.
