Why I'm standing

I believe this is the most important election of our time. Crime and cost of living are out of control and there is no sign that this government is taking it seriously. Youth crime and gangs need strong leadership and direction which is sadly lacking. I believe I have the knowledge and experience to give that leadership.

About me

I have been a resident of Northland for 40 years and spent 30 of those years on the frontline for the NZ Police. I have been a Whangarei District Councillor for six years and chair of community development for four years. I understand the issues, but more importantly I understand the solutions.

My priorities
  1. Address the drivers of crime and allow the police to do their job.
  2. Cut bureaucracy, inquire into foreign owned banks, GST off basic foods.
  3. Roading, connectivity, Northport, Marsden point.
