Why I'm standing

I believe the Bay of Plenty has a unique opportunity to shape a future truly worth leaving to the next generation. It's about more than just managing today's challenges — it's about ensuring our region remains prosperous, healthy and in a state of genuine wellbeing for generations. I want to play my part in building that legacy, so that those who come after us inherit a region even stronger than the one we enjoy today.

About me

I will make a good elected representative because I bring resilience, determination and a genuine commitment to serving our community. Raised in Tauranga, I understand both the opportunities and challenges facing our region. I am approachable and prepared to listen, but also willing to do the hard work when it's needed. My goal is to leave the Bay of Plenty better than I found it, bringing energy, common sense and long-term commitment to the role.

My priorities
  1. Protect clean water and air to safeguard health for future generations.
  2. Ensure transparency in council with open, accountable decision-making the community can trust.
  3. Protect port shares to keep Port of Tauranga in public hands for long-term regional benefit.
