Why I'm standing

As a long-time Tauranga resident, I have a strong desire to protect the beauty of our city and its natural resources while Tauranga continues to develop and grow.

About me

I have shown a willingness to stand up for local issues. This has included advocating for the Wairoa River, for elder housing, for school bus services and keeping the Racecourse Reserve a green space. I have experience in corporates with large budgets, in small business, on project teams, committees and in governance. All this will help me to navigate the complexities of regional government.

My priorities
  1. Plan for sustainable growth by preparing for future development while protecting our environment.
  2. Prepare for climate change floods and for our ageing population to be future ready.
  3. Keep a healthy environment by maintaining a focus on fresh water purity and biosecurity.
