Why I'm standing

I'm standing for the Bay of Plenty Regional Council because I believe we need strong, practical leadership to protect our environment, support local jobs, and ensure value for our rates.

About me

I bring a background in science, business, and community service - from forecasting the weather at MetService to co-directing Legacy Funerals, which has returned $4 million to local charities. I've chaired organisations like Tauranga Arts Festival, Film BOP, and the Sustainable Business Network. After 22 years living in Mount Maunganui, raising a family, and building an award winning business, Wave Agency - I'm ready to serve with energy and integrity.

My priorities
  1. Support sustainable industries and invest Port of Tauranga returns wisely to grow jobs and protect our future.
  2. Protect and restore wetlands and waterways to build resilience against climate change.
  3. Keep rates affordable, strengthen community voice, and improve public transport across the region.
