Why I'm standing

Deep down I care! This community and its natural environment gave me incredible opportunities, and I feel a responsibility to give back so that both people and nature can benefit. I'm frustrated by our direction and disillusioned by political stagnation and lack of real progress. That frustration has driven me to act. I'm putting my money where my mouth is because I want to protect our environment and ensure our community and planet thrive together.

About me

I grew up in Narrow Neck and have been around the world and back, fortunately calling it home again. I'm a professional sailor and civil-environmental engineer, adept at making precise, high-stakes decisions under pressure. After witnessing the ocean's decline firsthand, I founded LUCKE Apparel, a New Zealand sustainable workwear business dedicated to ethical innovation and transparency. I bring entrepreneurial drive, strategic problem-solving, clear communication, empathy, and a community-first, results-oriented mindset.

My priorities
  1. Protect water quality and beaches with smarter stormwater and environmental protection.
  2. Push for bold decisions to improve transport and traffic in the area with public transit and smoother flows.
  3. Deliver real value with transparent, evidence-based spending for the community.
