Why I'm standing

I believe Levin Council is on the right track with its current plans and vision for the future. However, there is still a long way to go in rebuilding trust with the community, ensuring fairer finances, improving staff treatment, and creating a healthier council culture. Most importantly, we must listen more carefully to the people we serve. This is where I hope to contribute, bringing openness, fairness, and stronger community connection to council decisions.

About me

I am honest, strong, and not someone who backs down easily when it comes to standing for what is right. I work well in a team and believe deeply in justice, people's rights, and dignity no matter who you are. Accountability and fair functioning are essential in our world. With experience in councils, NGOs, central government advocacy, and community work from young to old, I bring proven skills and integrity to serve effectively.

My priorities
  1. Create a healthy, respectful culture in council to match community values and economic reality.
  2. Find smarter finances and alternative council income streams to protect from rising rates and living costs.
  3. Protect the community from central government changes that limit what the council can do.
