Why I'm standing

I am part of five generations of the Collis family who have loved and lived in Levin. I have already invested in Levin through being involved in the start of Hinemoa House and Hope Hub (food security programme). I feel that I can add value in the council whilst advocating for those in the Levin ward. I want Levin to thrive and become a better place to live.

About me

Being born and bred in Levin, I feel I understand our area. I have spent my adult life serving on national and international projects and initiatives. I bring this experience back home and have leveraged it in launching two local trusts addressing real needs. My connections in the community and past record will help me serve with momentum.

My priorities
  1. Launch a campaign to build Hononga (connection). No one should feel alone in Levin.
  2. Strengthen community partnership with a partner first policy when it comes to using council assets.
  3. Ensure council decisions help to provide for and protect tamariki who are our treasure and our future.
