Why I'm standing

Manurewa has been my lifelong home. With 44 years in the Police and strong local leadership experience, I'm standing to continue building safer neighbourhoods, better services, and stronger support for our diverse community. I want to ensure fair funding for local needs, improve facilities, and back initiatives that help families, youth, seniors, and the vulnerable.

About me

I've proven I can deliver—securing funding, upgrading parks, supporting free sports for kids, and strengthening community services. My Police career and Local Board service show my commitment, fairness, and ability to get results. With deep roots in Manurewa and the perseverance of 113 marathons, I'll continue working tirelessly for our community.

My priorities
  1. Fix footpaths, clear drains and support weekly rubbish collections to create healthy neighbourhoods.
  2. Continue Puhinui Stream work, walkway linking The Gardens and Hillpark to Wirihana and Manukau.
  3. Maintain existing assets to prevent losses like Tadmor Hall and ensure long-term community use.
