Why I'm standing

I am seeking a third term on the board and have been disappointed by the lack of focus on small ticket issues, such as public safety and the professional presentation of the town. I believe the town needs a good facelift. I can provide common sense, consistency and local experience for the community.

About me

I have a proven background in the banking industry of 30 years, owning a management rights business in Queensland for 20 years and, lately, serving as president of the retirement village residents association which is strongly lobbying the government for a complete review of the act. I will not do everything but I will promise 100% effort from me over the next three years.

My priorities
  1. Improve communication and connection with the Taieri community.
  2. Listen, learn and act on suggestions from the public.
  3. Dramatically improve communication and connection with Dunedin City Council.
