Tawa Community Board

The Tawa Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Wellington City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of eight members: six members elected by voters, and two members from the Wellington City Council.  This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. Compare the candidates and their policies to decide who to vote for in the Tawa Community Board election.

Why I'm standing

Wellington already offers so much, and I want to contribute my leadership skills—honed through policing and public service—to help guide its growth and future success.

About me

After 25 years living and raising a family in Wellington, I bring leadership experience from New Zealand and UK Police, as well as senior roles across the public service. This breadth of experience gives me a unique perspective and the ability to deliver real results for the community through strong partnerships and collaboration.

My priorities
  1. Drive a vision of Tawa, highlighting it as a connected, safe and thriving community.
  2. Lead the renewal of Linden shops, tackling abandoned buildings which signal urban decline.
  3. Work in partnership with the business community to support their success and safety.
