Why I'm standing

I am running to represent a more centered group of people. To ensure their concerns and issues are voiced and taken seriously. Concerns like rising rates, value for money and ensuring the basics are done well. I am running to represent people who think a council should serve the people and not the other way around. A council should limit itself to providing key services and staying out of peoples way as much as possible.

About me

I am going in to this role with a huge willingness to serve the public and keep the council accountable and responsible for its spending of our communities hard earned money. I am not a politician, I am a husband, a father and a small business owner. We need people like that in the council to remind them of how life is for everyone and what is important to us.

My priorities
  1. Cut waste and keep rates low by focusing council on essentials only.
  2. Fix the basics including roads, drains and water infrastructure to prepare us for future growth.
  3. Cut red tape so homes and businesses can grow affordably.
