Why I'm standing
I am very clear that I am standing for you and for the future of our district, with no ego involved. I want to be your voice and make council work for you. This is an amazing place to live, work and play and I want to be part of making it even better for us all, and for your children and grandchildren in the future.
About me
My involvement in our communities talking with and listening to people like you gives me a strong voice to advocate for positive change around the council table. My track record in influencing change has been proven over three terms as community board chair. It also means that I have the experience and skills to hit the ground running. As some say I have served the best apprenticeship. However, I still bring a fresh perspective.
My priorities
- Tackle rates affordability so they are sustainable while providing services for now and the future.
- Support local businesses as they are part of a thriving and vibrant community and provide employment.
- Plan well for sustainable growth while addressing flooding risks and climate change impacts.
