Why I'm standing

I believe we have the best council and staff. I am a very positive, passionate person who likes to see the community thrive in a well-managed environment. I have unfinished work to do, including building the Eastern Link Road, improving the roading network around Rangiora such as Skew Bridge and roundabouts, establishing a health hub, supporting Rangiora Airfield expansion, supporting sports bodies to grow and improve facilities, and enhancing the wellbeing of the community.

About me

I was chairperson of the Dudley Aquatic Pool Fundraising Committee, raising $1.8 million. I have a passion for the community, a business background, knowledge, strategic planning and empathy that enable me to assist and guide the governance of our growing and great district to live in and thrive. I have six years' experience in council and believe I have contributed positively and assertively to good outcomes when I believe something is right and should be done.

My priorities
  1. Support building a seven-day health hub. We have committed funding to get the build underway.
  2. Complete the Eastern Link Road from Lineside Road to Northbrook Road and then to Coldstream Road.
  3. Extend the Rangiora Library.
Current role
