Chair of the Cambridge Community Board

Why I'm standing

I'm running for Council because Cambridge needs strong, experienced, and practical representation. After six years on the Cambridge Community Board, including three as Chair, I've seen first-hand how important it is to have a clear voice for our community at the Council table. My priorities: Keep rates affordable and spending sensible. Make sure growth is managed wisely. Push for practical solutions to traffic and parking issues. Champion projects like Cambridge Connections with transparency and accountability.

About me

I've consistently advocated for residents, worked closely with Council, and built strong relationships across our community. I understand how Council works, having attended nearly every meeting over the past three years, and I know how to navigate its processes to get results for Cambridge. I've represented our community at hearings, public meetings, and in the media. I'm practical, approachable, and committed to making sensible, balanced decisions. I believe I can provide strong representation for Cambridge.

My priorities
  1. Focus on rates affordability by prioritising essential services only while keeping levels of service high.
  2. Manage required growth and infrastructure while protecting what makes Cambridge special.
  3. Champion the Cambridge Connections project.
