Why I'm standing

For me the catalyst for running was the Council's handling of the Cambridge Connections project, where a decision regarding the transport network and the potential location of an additional bridge was made without speaking to a single resident. I realised that the community needed a voice and someone who could bring positive solutions to long standing issues.

About me

Throughout my professional life in business, I have connected people with ideas and made things happen. I have led, grown and owned businesses across a diverse range of businesses giving me the opportunity to manage financial resources responsibly, lead teams and collaborate with others. This is what I will do as a Councilor. I will also be completely independent, ask the tough questions, truly listen, be accessible and accountable, be objective and serve my community.

My priorities
  1. Ensure the community is heard and understood and restore trust between community and the council.
  2. Get value for money and improve productivity of Council staff by concentrating operational capacity.
  3. Control civil engineering and capital projects effectively to meet budget and time requirements.
