Why I'm standing

I am running for council because I want to give back to Cambridge and the wider Waipa, which has been home to my family for almost 10 years now. With my background in healthcare, business, finance and community leadership, I bring practical skills and compassion to the role. I believe council decisions should reflect the real concerns of everyday families, businesses and communities, and I want to be a strong, reliable voice for them.

About me

I will make a good elected representative because I know how to listen, connect and act on what matters most to people. My background in healthcare and education taught me compassion, in business and finance I learned wise stewardship, and in ministry and leadership I developed strategic thinking and accountability with integrity and purpose. I bring a balance of heart and skill ensuring decisions are people-focused, practical and sustainable for Waipa's future.

My priorities
  1. Support youth, families, businesses and community groups with policies that help them thrive.
  2. Strengthen community connections so every voice is heard and represented in council.
  3. Ensure smart, strategic growth so housing, services and infrastructure keep pace without extra burden.
