Why I'm standing

I believe Riccarton is a special place. I grew up on Kauri Street, went to local schools and worked in local business. I now have experience working across industry and around the world, and I want to put my skills to work for the community and give back. I believe Riccarton is the starting point to a new life for many and contains many creative and hard-working people. I want to offer a fresh perspective and build on our strengths.

About me

I have always had a passion for finding shared solutions by bringing people together and finding consensus, which I do in my professional capacity too. I have worked across government, the private sector, banking, the transport industry, and now in a charity that provides healthcare to countries that need it. Leading major transformations, I engage and listen to everyone, bring them together and drive a shared outcome. I will bring this skillset to the community board.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for safe, liveable streets with transport options to get people to work, school and play.
  2. Build thriving businesses and more jobs by filling empty stores in main streets with local business.
  3. Provide present and proactive representation by working with the community to find solutions to all issues.
