Why I'm standing

Better public transport, safer roads and less reliance on cars. I would like to continue to represent Eastbourne residents, especially during the construction of the Tupua Horo Nuku shared path over the next three years. This project will have significant benefits, allowing us to walk and cycle more safely around the bays and improving resilience against climate change. In addition, I will continue to liaise with Metlink and regional council to improve Eastbourne's bus service.

About me

I am passionate about improving public transport and safer roads for pedestrians and cyclists. I'm proud of the role the rest of the Community Board and I had in getting the Tupua Horo Nuku shared path project over the line. I want to continue the work of liaising with residents and the project team during the construction phase over the next three years.

My priorities
  1. Liaise with residents and the project team during construction of the Tupua Horo Nuku shared path.
  2. Work with regional council and Metlink to improve Eastbourne's bus service.
  3. Use my communication skills to continue to inform residents about the community board's activities.
