Why I'm standing

Running for the community board is an opportunity to serve all the bays in Eastbourne, and its residents. I have a particular focus on our youth and the vital role they can play in developing our community. I will advocate with energy, compassion and commitment. I am concerned that council doesn't always act in good faith towards Eastbourne and I intend to hold it accountable.

About me

My years as a professional theatre and film practitioner, and my extensive experience working with children and youth, have developed a strong capacity to bring people together for a common cause and to draw the best out of them. Since moving our family to Eastbourne six years ago, I have volunteered in a wide range of local initiatives – swim club, scouts, Nourish and school activities. My skills and integrity will serve Eastbourne well.

My priorities
  1. Engage the voice of our youth to develop initiatives that support and integrate them better.
  2. Ensure the execution of Tupua Horo Nuku is to a standard that Eastbourne residents expect and want.
  3. Advocate passionately to council the clear preferences of the local community.
