Eastbourne Community Board

The Eastbourne Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Hutt City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

I love being a Bays resident and want to continue growing the amazing sense of community we have. I have a young family and am keen to bring this perspective to the work of the Community Board.

About me

I have the energy and drive to advocate for and deliver on community initiatives. I have a background in environmental science (PhD in atmospheric chemistry) and extensive experience working the in public sector, giving me the knowledge and capability to drive positive change.

My priorities
  1. Grow community connectedness through more community activities and events.
  2. Introduce and advocate for improved sustainability initiatives.
  3. Support and advocate for transport alternatives such as walking, cycling, and public transport.
