About me
I have extensive governance experience as the former MP for Te Atatu, a former Government Minister, a former senior United Nations official, an elected member of the Waitemata District Health Board and a current Henderson Massey Local Board Member. I have lived in the Henderson Massey Local Boad area for over 30 years and have extensive local networks, friends and former constituents. I know the area and its issues well. I am keen to continue to contribute to my community.
My priorities
- Promote the sensible revitalisation of the Henderson CBD.
- Make progress on the completion of a public walkway around the Te Atatu Peninsula
- Work with Auckland Transport over street parking issues related to housing intensification.
