Why I'm standing

I love West Auckland and I am committed to creating vibrant neighbourhoods that are safe and connected. For too long, West Auckland has received less than its central neighbours. I want to see prosperity and opportunity shared across all of Auckland. My heart is community and grassroots solutions. I will hold Auckland Council to account and voice the aspirations and concerns of the community I serve.

About me

It's an honour to currently serve as an independent on the local board. My husband Tuvalu and I live in Te Atatu and are the proud parents of three children. We have been local business owners for over 15 years and are well connected in our community. I have a strong track record of passionate representation and advocacy. This includes volunteering on the Rutherford School Board of Trustees, neighbourhood support, church leadership, and community projects/events.

My priorities
  1. Fight for the needed infrastructure to support the rapid growth in the area.
  2. Advocate for fast, frequent and reliable public transport and investment in cycleways.
  3. Empower and resource local community groups and mana whenua.
