Why I'm standing

I want to help make West Auckland a better place to live. I have been trying to do this with my own initiatives for many years. I'm someone who prefers listening and doing rather than just talking about it. I want West Auckland to continue to be a place people are proud to call home. I want to focus on things that are important to people's everyday lives and well-being.

About me

I was born and raised in West Auckland. I have an understanding of the area's history and how strong it should be in the future. I want to see West Auckland continue to flourish economically, socially and environmentally. My upbringing, business and community work have given me the skillset, values, passion and knowledge to do this role well. I want to help people and I want to be the advocate for the whole community.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for improvements to infrastructure, transport, parking strategies due to intensification.
  2. Advocate for more vibrant community and town centres like Henderson.
  3. Advocate for walkable neighbourhoods. Where everything you want should be within a 15-minute walk.
