Why I'm standing

I want to act like a bridge that connects our local residents to the local government and be able to deliver their voice to the local board. Our communities are able to receive and share information and resources with our local government through me. Also, I am bilingual; I want to make sure our new migrant communities have a stronger voice on the local board.

About me

I started contributing to our Chinese local communities. I'm also the support person and volunteer for multiple non-profit organisations and societies in West Auckland, for instance, Auckland Environmental Protection Association, Te Atatu Fun Day Charitable events, Eco Matters, and Multicultural Festival events. Hence, Henderson-Massey Local Board granted me the Community Volunteer Award of 2013 in recognition of my volunteer service. It's been a pleasure to see our communities grow and become prosperous.

My priorities
  1. Promote the sensible revitalisation of the Henderson Town Centre.
  2. Make progress on the completion of a public walkway around Te Atatū Peninsula.
  3. Progress the building of a public swimming pool in Massey
