Why I'm standing

I am a recent citizen, new to the community and I feel being part of the local board is a good way to learn, contribute, and make a positive impact. I will also add some diversity of thought in an area where board membership seems to be very homogenous.

About me

I have developed strong analytical, problem solving, leadership, and relationship management skills during extensive work experience and education. I sincerely believe that my skills will be useful for the community. I have recently completed the Master of Indigenous Studies. I am passionate about being a true tangata tiriti and committed to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in my personal and professional life.

My priorities
  1. Ensure the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are a part of everyday working of the local board.
  2. Commit to the implementation of Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri (Auckland's Climate Plan).
  3. Help and support in the timely delivery of Penlink.
