Why I'm standing

I was born and raised in the Hibiscus Coast which is a beautiful part of Auckland with varied coastal environments. We can no longer afford to keep missing out. Ratepayers deserve to see a meaningful return on investment and accountability in decision making. Projects like transport improvements, community recycling centers, and dedicated library spaces need representatives who can build relationships around the council table to win more for our beloved communities.

About me

I am a qualified teacher with more than seven years experience, teaching locally and leading a highly successful team of foreign teachers in international schools with a focus on innovation and improving student success. I have dedicated time to community projects including planning and painting murals with a team of professional artists. I have advocated for changes to improve the wellbeing of students, and I am a member of the Harbour Hospice Advisory Board.

My priorities
  1. Improve usage and reliability of public transport, to ease congestion and benefit economy.
  2. Advocate for well designed community planning that allows for more homes to be built in key areas.
  3. Prepare for and mitigate the negative impacts of a changing climate.
