Why I'm standing

I am a very proud coastie and my love for this area and its people motivated me to put my hand up to advocate on behalf of our local community for our local community. I am a strong believer in local government in particular local solutions tailored to local problems, I am also passionate about local ownership and development of local assets, I believe local government can and should take a bigger role.

About me

Our Coast People team achieved a project completion rate of 94 percent during their last term which is unparalleled, we intend to continue to deliver at or above this rate for our local community. My background as an enrolled barrister and solicitor and business owner I hope will only add to not only the project completion rate mentioned above but also assist in increasing youth engagement with local government so that they can have a voice.

My priorities
  1. Support and increase engagement of our coast youth in the business of the local board.
  2. Advocate for a strong local economy increasing prosperity and job opportunities for coasties.
  3. Support local organisations and the New Zealand Police to make the Hibiscus Coast even safer.
