Why I'm standing

What motivates me to stand is intergenerational equity – that generations to come will have cleaner water, air, and better natural and built environments, to raise their families and build communities. I am enthusiastic about local decision-making and strengthening community leadership, resilience and participation. I am committed to local governance that delivers on environmental restoration and climate action, to future-proof our infrastructure, accelerate public and active transport, particularly to our schools, work and local communities.

About me

I have work experience and knowledge of the building industry. I am a social worker and involved father of three of Samoan descent, and a strong appreciation for celebrating diversity and understand the need to be culturally responsive in both home and work. I am passionate about providing services that truly responded to people's needs. I enjoyed the challenges of service development and encouraging stakeholders to think and respond in ways that serve more people.

My priorities
  1. I am committed to local governance that delivers on and climate action.
  2. Local governance that delivers, on public and safe active transport, to our schools, work, homes.
  3. To promote the well-being of communities in the present and for the future.
