Kaipātiki Local Board

The Kaipātiki Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of eight members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

I love Kaipātiki. This is my home. Having served the local board area for the last nine years, I believe in empowering our community and standing up for the aspirations and meeting the expectations of all.

About me

Leadership comes from listening and then taking action. In the roles of local board chair/deputy chair, I bring extensive business and governance experience, ensuring strong financial accountability and clear decision-making for Kaipātiki.

My priorities
  1. Environment – protect what we have by improving our bush tracks and funding our environment partners.
  2. Improve community development through our partners for youth, seniors, cultural and disability.
  3. Economic development – support our town centres, employment, safety outcomes and fund events.
