Why I'm standing

Kaipātiki is a great place to live, work and raise a family. I am standing to help protect what we love and get things done, and to ensure we get the services and facilities that our growing community needs for the future.

About me

With prior experience as a local councillor in the UK, as well as a physics teacher, educational leader, driving instructor and proud father to two young children, I always have young people's interests at heart. I believe in using solid evidence and understanding the big picture before making decisions. I am diligent, attentive to detail and solution-focused and I'm ready to work for Kaipātiki.

My priorities
  1. Work collaboratively with Auckland Transport to improve public transport, congestion and road safety.
  2. Get our beaches swimmable all year by stopping wastewater overflows every time it rains.
  3. Plan for the future of Birkenhead, Glenfield and Beach Haven so they serve their local communities.
