Why I'm standing

Kaipātiki is a wonderful place to live, learn, work and play and I want to be part of a local board which continues to improve what we love about this community. As a representative on our local board, I will represent the views of our community and ensure that local board plans and actions reflect your aspirations.

About me

My background is 25 years in the Royal New Zealand Navy. I have also worked in the Middle East, and Pacific, Mt Eden Prison as a Facilities Manager, and my current role is a Contract and Funding Manager for Oranga Tamariki. I plan, source and manage the commissioning, investment and procurement of services that support families across Auckland.

My priorities
  1. Build relationships before focusing on the work and value everyone's contribution and knowledge.
  2. Create strategic plans for our community that are future focused, flexible and agile.
  3. Collaborate and co-design with Māori to respond to needs of the community to enable good outcomes.
