Why I'm standing

I love our district want to continue the great work that our council does. Never been a more crucial time for stability and knowledge to balance with new councillors with all the reforms coming at us along with constitutional knowledge of major projects, policies and strategies already being worked on like the district plan, airport, waiora house, long term plan, 30 year infrastructure strategy just to name a handful of things.

About me

I'm committed to the safety of our communities, the protection of our natural environment, the revitalisation of our local economy post Covid-19, and ensuring resilient infrastructure. I'm a team player with a strong, independent voice that wants all communities to thrive, and always with integrity. I look forward, not one to live in the past. I have strong relationships locally, regionally and nationally. This is important with the reforms we are being subjected too.

My priorities
  1. Ensure knowledge and integrity at the table to face the reforms being imposed on us from government.
  2. Continue all the major projects council is undertaking, stability and knowledge is needed.
  3. Assist new council to hit the ground running with new wards and councillors. Am there for big picture!
