Why I'm standing

I believe that our city has a competitive status as a leader in cultural and economic creativity that needs to be fostered and grown. I was born and raised in Wellington and have become concerned at the increased unaffordability and inequity developing over the years.

About me

I am the Assistant Principal Violist of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, my musical career has taken me to many places overseas including Germany and the USA where I lived and worked for a decade. I will bring experience in arts and culture as well as leadership and relationship management skills to the council.

My priorities
  1. Prioritise infrastructure over other expenditure.
  2. Further develop public transport that is effective, affordable and reliable.
  3. Nurture community spaces such as the Chaffers Farmers' market which improve residents' lives.
