Why I'm standing

I want to keep working hard for the people, for our planet and for the city we love as a councillor for the Pukehīnau Lambton Ward that real people can relate to and look to for leadership in uncertain times. I need no time to learn the ropes, having served one term already, and I have a track record of wins contributing to us being the most progressive, greenest, coolest little capital in the world.

About me

I'm one of the hardest workers on council and have a track record of wins for the communities I represent. I never give up and I am not afraid to challenge vested interests or the council itself. I am accessible and engage people who have never been represented in traditional councils. I'm backed by E Tū Union and the Green Party because of my heart for the people and my passion for our precious environment.

My priorities
  1. Taking urgent climate action and becoming a Zero Carbon Capital by 2040.
  2. Providing warm, safe, affordable homes for all, especially the most vulnerable whānau.
  3. Leading the council into the future of being an affordable, dynamic, wild, creative capital city.
