Why I'm standing

A downward trend of resident satisfaction ratings (12% rating this year) highlights how many council decisions are not supported by most Wellingtonians. I have the local government skills, and experience to work with a new council to shape a reset of council's priorities. I am fully committed to Wellington becoming the the world's most liveable "Big-Small" city for everyone now and into the future.

About me

I have represented the city for the past six yrs I'm strong but pragmatic. I'm independent and know the value of working with local communities. Alongside my communities, I have saved a much loved heritage pool, strongly advocated for and secured additional arts funding and continue to champion for community and infrastructure improvements (especially water and roading) across the city.

My priorities
  1. Reset the priorities of council to ensure it does the basics well – pipes, paths, parks and utilities.
  2. Neighbourhood plans for timely, and more connected infrastructure and facilities to support more houses.
  3. Restore the vibrancy and pride in our central city to support more people, businesses and the arts.
