Wharangi/Onslow-Western General Ward
The Wellington City Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of 15 councillors and the mayor. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in the city). Three councillors will be elected from the Wharangi/Onslow-Western ward. This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. I believe Wellington city and Wellington region is one of the best cities in the world. Being a naturopath and managing eco-green homes. I want to bring my expertise of green homes and green procurement to solve major Wellington city issues. I want to use my national and international business experience and bring diversity in council.

I am confident and qualified to use my national and international business and green procurement and carbon management experience to reduce council expenditure resulting in reducing rates and making a carbon-neutral city.

My priorities
  1. Forever be mindful that all people in our electoral are treated in a respectful and fair manner.
  2. I support lower council rates and public transport fares, investment in infrastructure and safety.
  3. Council promoting healthy and green homes for community. Policies to get Wellingtonians involved.
