Mayor of Dunedin

The mayor is the leader of the council. Their job is to promote a vision for the city and lead the development of the council’s plans, policies and budget. The mayor appoints the deputy mayor, establishes committees for particular topics, and appoints chairs for those committees. This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. Compare the candidates and their policies to decide who to vote for in the Dunedin City Council mayoral election.

Why I'm standing

I want Dunedin to be a great place to raise a family. I am a mother of three gorgeous girls. Being a mother has been such a rewarding and wonderful experience. I decided in October 2020 that I did not want the COVID-19 bioweapon injections in my body or my daughters' bodies. We were excluded, persecuted, bullied, harassed, attacked and kidnapped by New Zealand Government staff for being unvaccinated. Our rights were violated repeatedly.

About me

I have a bachelor's in commerce, in economics and management, a bachelor's in teaching, a diploma in theology, a certificate in personal training, a YWAM DTS certificate and I completed a Dairy New Zealand farming short course. I have been involved in politics in Dunedin by campaigning for Dunedin mayor and councillor in 2022, Dunedin MP in 2023, and with reduce rates, challenging councils, Dunedin's ratepayers and householders association, Dunedin area citizens association and Surrey Street.

My priorities
  1. Reduce rates so that people do not lose their homes due to unpaid rates through the Rating Act.
  2. Reduce Dunedin City Council's billion-dollar debts, which cost one million dollars per week.
  3. Bring Dunedin out of difficult economic times by winding back impractical regulations and red tape.
