Why I'm standing
I want to help make West Auckland a better place to live. I have been trying to do this with my own initiatives for many years. I'm someone who prefers listening and doing rather than just talking about it. I want West Auckland to continue to be a place people are proud to call home. I want to focus on things that are important to people's everyday lives and wellbeing.
About me
I was born and raised in West Auckland. I have an understanding of the area's history and how strong it should be in the future. I want to see West Auckland continue to flourish economically, socially and environmentally. My upbringing, business, governance and community experience has given me the skillset, values, passion and knowledge to do this role well. I want to help people and I want to be the advocate for the whole community.
My priorities
- Smarter budgeting and balanced use of rates to ease the cost of living.
- Create vibrant community spaces, putting community first so people feel safe and connected to where they live.
- Improve infrastructure to help the area thrive economically, socially and environmentally.
