The Henderson-Massey Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. About me
I have been dedicated to West Auckland since 1989. I am involved in governance, advocacy, and volunteer roles, including as Vice President of Waitakere Grey Power Association, Waitakere Ethnic Board member, community advocate for people with special needs and seniors. I am a radio talk host and a Justice of the Peace. I have held senior management roles and manage investment holdings.
My priorities
- Invest in modern, accessible and welcoming community facilities such as a second aquatic centre in northwest.
- Advocate for frequent, affordable and reliable integrated public transport system to manage traffic.
- Back local patrols and street lighting upgrades and work with schools to increase youth engagement.
