Why I'm standing

I believe our local board should prioritise core services rather than nice-to-haves. I consider the Henderson Safe Streets trial of 2021 a good example of misplaced priorities. I am concerned about the lack of genuine local consultation. I believe the same old people who have taken bad decisions continue to hold office and make poor decisions.

About me

I have experience in governance and running community organisations. I hold a PgDip in public sector management. I am a filmmaker and television producer who has worked in the grassroots. I am also involved in promoting international trade and sit on the board of the New Zealand Bharat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

My priorities
  1. Prioritise core services and reduce spending on unnecessary activities.
  2. Remove or reduce unnecessary speed bumps and traffic restrictions.
  3. Advocate to replace the railway crossing at Ranui with a flyover.
